The best way to learn is by doing. Every part of my curriculum is shaped by each player’s needs, supported by my experience with local soccer communities, playing levels, and coaching styles. I design sessions that build real-game understanding, push players to think creatively, and help them develop both skill and confidence.

About Me

Hi! My name is Emma Beverley, and I’m a lifelong soccer player.

I grew up in the CC United community, where I first fell in love with the game. In my teens, I moved to MTA and competed at high levels including ECNL, NPL, ODP, and was lucky enough to play in Europe in the Youth World Cup.

But my journey wasn't always easy.

I wasn’t born playing like Alex Morgan, and for years I found myself on the lowest teams. Playing with guilt instead of pride from the fear of letting my teammates down. I put so much pressure on myself to perform that the game I loved started to create anxiety instead of joy. The turning point came when I made the decision to put in the extra work—physically and mentally. That dedication helped rebuild my confidence, transform my game, and renew my passion for soccer.

This is what inspired me to get involved in youth coaching

I know what it feels like to struggle, to doubt yourself, and to grow through it. And there’s nothing more rewarding than watching a player reach a goal they once thought was out of reach—not just as an athlete, but as a person.

What does my coaching experience look like?

I am Grassroots certified by USYSA, including both 9v9 and 11v11 formats. I have previously worked as a youth coach at Soccer Fun-Da-Mentals in Shakopee, MN, and am MSHSA certified after coaching Chaska High School Soccer. Currently, I coach both technical training sessions and a youth team at CC United, helping players develop their skills and confidence on the field.
